From a single house and cotton gin built in 1879, Euless has grown to a dynamic community of over 54,000 citizens today and is the fourth largest city in Tarrant County. Approximately 30% of the city’s incorporated area lies within the boundaries of DFW International Airport, including the airport’s car rental facility. Euless’ close proximity to DFW Airport has made the city a major commercial-industrial center for the Northeast Tarrant County area. In recent years, new retail and residential development, as well as redevelopment of existing properties, have been a strong priority for the Euless City Council. Euless’ proactive leadership maintains a solid financial position, strong fiscal policy and low debt per capita.
Euless boasts 600 acres of parks, new aquatics facilities, miles of walking/hiking trails, and several recreational opportunities including Texas Star Golf Course and Conference Center, which was recently named one of the Best Courses You Can Play by GolfWeek magazine. While maintaining the City’s identity and preserving history, Euless is a progressive community with a hometown feel.
