North Texas Commission Hires Vice President of Advocacy

Former Congressional Staffer Brings Federal, State Expertise

North Texas – The North Texas Commission, a unique public-private partnership that drives large, impactful projects and advocates for regional issues, has hired Holli Davies as Vice President of Advocacy. In this role, Davies will lead the legislative initiatives of the organization and its North Texas Advocacy Coalition.

Most recently, Davies served as the regional director for U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul, representing his office in Houston. In this role, she led all operations of the eastern counties within the 10th Congressional District of Texas managing the Chairman’s public perception, overseeing constituent relations and serving as a liaison between the Washington, D.C. office and the local community. Congressman McCaul is Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security.

Prior to that, she worked with the Camp Bowie District and as a public affairs representative with Chesapeake Energy in Fort Worth. In addition, Davies worked for U.S. Congresswoman Kay Granger’s Washington, D.C. office.
