North Texas Commission Appoints 2015 Executive Committee and Board of Directors

NORTH TEXAS – The North Texas Commission announced the election and appointment of its new officers, executive committee and directors to its board. Gray Mayes, director, government relations, Texas Instruments, will serve as the 2015 chairman of the North Texas Commission. Robert Hastings, senior vice president and chief of staff for Bell Helicopter Textron will serve as vice chairman. David Tesmer, senior vice president, Advocacy and Community Benefit for Texas Health Resources, will become the immediate past chairman. Chris Felan, vice president of rates and regulatory affairs for Atmos Energy, joins the executive committee.
The following directors remain on the Executive Committee for 2014: Bob Pence, president and CEO of Freese and Nichols, Inc.; Holly Reed, regional vice president, AT&T; Stephen Tolerico, chief marketing officer, Sewell Automotive Companies; Kevin Ward, general manager, Trinity River Authority; and Hal Thorne, OnePrime; will serve as general counsel.
Newly appointed board members are: Frank Antonacci, mTHINX Technologies, LLC; Stephen Butt, HEB/Central Market; Kenneth Cook, WaterCentric; David Cooke, City of Fort Worth; Corey Davison, Tenet Healthcare Corporation; Dave Felio, The Realtime Group; Kelli Fischer, Texas Rangers Baseball Club; John Gonzales, U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Hon. Jungus Jordan, City of Fort Worth; Eric Krueger, Balfour Beatty Construction; Neha Kunte, MNK Infotech Inc.; YaLonda Lockett, Constellation; Tracy Merzi, Dallas Business Journal; Opal Mauldin Robertson, City of Lancaster; Joe Scott, DFW Canadian American Chamber of Commerce; Hon. Oscar Trevino, City of North Richland Hills; and Hon. Chris Watts, City of Denton.
New Ex-Officio Board members are Robert Jameson, Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau; Tina Weinfurther, Center for Nonprofit Management; Charlene Stark, Hope for the Brave; and Chris Wallace, Texas Association of Business.
