Education remains a top concern among North Texas business leaders, especially as they eye their future workforce needs and if there will be the employees to meet those demands. The North Texas Commission will address the intersection of business and education at the next TO THE POINT luncheon presented by Fidelity Investments to be held on Thursday, April 20.
Michael Williams, former Texas Education Agency Commissioner, and Kent Eastman, Texas Market President for Capital One Bank, will have an on-stage conversation about how prepared the future workforce will be, the impact of the state’s 60X30 initiative and how involved the business community should be in this issue. Grand Prairie ISD Superintendent Dr. Susan Hull will provide opening remarks and share the impact of GPISD’s Schools and Programs of Choice in preparing students for the workforce.
TO THE POINT is presented by Fidelity Investments. Signature sponsors are DFW Airport and the Dallas Business Journal. Event sponsors are Metroport Cities Partnership and WorldVentures.
Table sponsorships begin at $750 and individual tickets begin at $75. To reserve your spot, click here or contact Amber Zuckerman.
