Government Affairs Steering Committee
Regional public affairs professionals who guide the NTC’s policy positions and identify critical legislative issues that require immediate action from NTC investors. This committee steers the North Texas Advocacy Coalition and its task forces:
- Business Competitiveness
- Transportation & Logistics
- Education & Workforce
- Local Government & Resources
Leadership North Texas Steering Committee
Selection committee to determine participants in upcoming program and provide input into class curriculum. Previous participation in the Leadership North Texas program is a requisite for this committee. Meets in the spring.
North Central Texas InterLink, Inc. Board and Committees
NTC supports and monitors the North Central Texas InterLink, Inc., a regional quality work force planning organization founded in 1987. InterLink is a 501(c)(3) partnership among business, education and government entities which works to improve work force development in the region and helps to match the supply and demand of a skilled labor force. The board helps make policy and direct the activities of the organization.
Think-tank to develop topics, speakers and support for programming that connects all members in the NTC community. Participants will be encouraged to be table hosts.
NTC Board of Directors
The Board of Directors authorizes North Texas Commission committees, operations, projects and events. Directors are elected from among leading NTC members.
The Executive Committee oversees and evaluates the progress of the North Texas Commission’s program of work. Members are elected from the NTC Board of Directors.
The Finance Committee monitors the commission’s financial performance and policies. It recommends monetary changes to the NTC Board and Executive Committee as necessary.
This committee nominates new board members and officers.
North Texas Commission Foundation
The North Texas Commission Foundation is a 501(c)(3) corporation to NTC and is designed to identify, study and seek long-term solutions for regional issues. The NTC Executive Committee serves as the NTCF Board of Directors.
We convene our region’s various industry experts to identify our greatest challenges. Through a collaborative approach, our industry councils aim to accomplish our goals with an emphasis on pro-business practices, good governance, and pro-local control solutions.
